This thesis proposes methodology of settig technique in volleyball. It concerns specification and systematics of volleyball, divides setting according to technical and tactical perspectives. The main aim was to design a model setting exercise and to test it on a control group. For control group I chose girl players from Tj Jiskra team in Zruč nad Sázavou. They were divided into A and B group. Both groups went through a movement skills test and a test determinig the setting skill level. For 4 mounths A group practiced the setting technique exercises. After this period both groups were tested again and the results were compared and statistically evaluated. The thesis also includes a series of game and drill exercises within each stage. \\

Title: Analysis and significance of selected game activities of individuals without the ball with specialization setter Objectives: The aim of this work is analysis of selected game activities of individuals without the ball, mainly in offensice and to a lesser extent in defence situations. These situations are analysed via selected sequences in the software DartFish. The research was focused on three setter from three currently the best women's teams in the Czech Republic: Pavla Vincourová (VK Agel Prostějov), Iveta Halbichová (PVK Olymp Praha) a Veronika Tinklová (SK UP Olomouc). Abstrakt: This thesis is dedicated to all volleyball fans and mainly to volleyball coaches who are interested in problematics of move of a setter in volleyball. The thesis contains chapters on the history of volleyball, game performance and its diagnostics, other chapters are on set and setter. Evaluation and comparison of the success in gaming activities of libero with hitters in the mens volleyball European Championship 2011

Title: Evaluation and comparison of the success in gaming activities of libero with hitters in the mens volleyball European Championship 2011 Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is comparison of libero and hitters. This thesis focus on pass after servis from oponent team and on field game. We will achieve results about succes rate of libero and compare those results with results of hitters, on European championship 2011 in men voleyball, in the same category. Methods: In this thesis is used the method of indirect observation, thanks to video. It was recorded success of passing and collection via line method. In order to classify the quality of passing and collection, it was used five-point scale. Results: The results confirmed all the research questions, so we are convinced of the quality and indispensability of libero in Volleyball. Title: The Analysis and Comparison of Effectiveness of Deffensive Indivividual Play Skills in Volleyball of Chosen Cadet Girls Teams from The European Championship 2015. Objectives: The main aim of this study is to carry out an analysis and comparison of the play performance of the representative teams of cadet girls teams from the Czech Republic, the Republic of Turkey, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Serbia at the Europian Championship 2015 in Bulgaria from the point of view of deffensive individual skills - blocking and digging. We tried to compare effectiveness of blocking and digging of above mentioned teams. Methods: For carrying out our analysis we have used data processed in the diagnostic programme Datavolley, which is used for analyses of play skills in volleyball. The processed data are arranged into tables and graphs and individual values are (if needed) transferred into percentages using mathematical-statistical methods. Results: The results show the differences between chosen teams and provide recommendations for future work with youth representative teams.
